Ceremonial Blend Matcha 50G

Thoughts: Greenbird Matcha, ceremonial granite stone-ground Yabukita 1st & 2nd harvest, Kagoshima, Japan. I made the matcha how I prefer to make any other matcha at home: 2 tsps > 4 oz water poured over ~ 16 oz drink. I did pour too much maple syrup but the matcha still comes through. Tried the leftover matcha with a splash of oat, and it still tasted pleasant unsweetened. It’s mild and light refreshing, not exactly grassy it tasted more nutty which I tend to prefer. The green color is sooo pretty, the smell isnt as fragrant/overpowering in the packaging, not at all fishy or overly grassy smelling like some other matchas. I think it comes with a lot for the price point, 50g for ~$30.

As a habitual matcha drinker, I’ve tried many different matcha brands and I really loved this one! It’s more on the sweet side which I enjoy, definitely recommend this for both people who want to get into matcha and are long time matcha enthusiasts!

I'm typically really picky when it comes to my matcha, and honestly? I love the way Greenbird tastes! On the spectrum between grassy to sweet, this def has [naturally] sweeter notes and tastes very smooth. Definitely a treat to include with my morning routine! I specifically love it in iced latte form with a mild tasting milk. The color is also to die for. The perfect shade of green.

Quality is definitely there. Bright green and fresh tasting. I just wish it came in a tin instead.

Tried a bunch of brands and this one actually tastes good. I use a whisk and it foams easily.
